Today we manufacture 10,000 MT of coated paper in a year.

SOMA initially started with china clay coated paper and during the years has added on to its product range, carbonless (self-copy) papers, fluorescent (coloured) papers, and other speciality papers. All these products are marketed under the brand name Diamond Cote^TM.

The chemicals used in the process of manufacture are being supplied by world renowned companies. India being a tropical country, the technology has been adopted to suit the tropical climatic conditions prevailing in India.

Our plant is located less than 200 kms from Mumbai (Bombay). In terms of location, we are in the midst of the marketplace. We can deliver huge quantities within the time limit specified by the customer. With offices in the major cities in India and with dealers / distributors all over the country, we are able to cater to each an every consumer with a personal touch.

ECO-FRIENDLY:

Today, the world focuses on environmental protection. And since most of our products are wood free as we use paper which derives fibre from renewable agricultural feed stock, it helps in the conservation of forests which are otherwise eroded for providing the input. Despite the technological limitations of quality, consumers are willing to pay higher prices to encourage products which conserve the environment.
